Government House - 1825
SE corner of Water & Simcoe Streets, Peterborough
On this site stood the 1825 Government House, the log dwelling and office of Peter Robinson, who assisted 2200 Irish immigrants in settling here by the British Government, and whose name was given to the settlement.
